Teenie Weenie TWIST OUT

Welp ... I think this turned out pretty good! It turned out a lot better than the last 2 times I tried it. **see '3rd Time's a Charm - Trying Flat twists again' blog** My t.w.a. (teenie weenie afro) is now a teenie weenie twist out. I followed all the directions my daughter gave me but I still had some frizzies when I took the twist apart and I did it with oiled hands. So what do you think?

This twist out was done on 05/31/2013 and it looked more like my t.w.a. I wanted that kinkier look, the unkempt look but I did not follow my daughters directions to the letter with this one.

Don't get it twisted though, I truly thought I was cute! Can you tell? *laughs*

Now this one is the first I did ... no wet hair, oiled hands or ANYTHING!

As you can tell by the looks on my face I was NOT impressed at all. I love my hair and loved the results regardless BUT I was looking for that kinky look as I stated above. This is truly a learning experience and I am a work in progress! I can't wait for my hair to get more length to it! I am so ready and excited about what I would be able to do with it! After looking at the growth and curl pattern of my daughters natural fro I have a pretty good idea of what mine will look like. Stay tuned for more of my natural madness!! There's MUCH more to come!
