May Vacation 2013 - Grand Finale (Part I)

Movement began in the 7 a.m. hour with talks of working out. Time to get a move on ... pre AND post work out meals now on my mind so downstairs we head for breakfast.

My VI shake (enough for Anthony and I), small bowl of oatmeal with a tablespoon of yogurt and a bowl of orange slices, grapefruit and pineapple pieces. We started off FORTIFIED!! Anthony wanted to hit the gym but I had to walk/jog first, it's what I am used to and he was happy to oblige. The Vero Beach Outlet was right next to the Country Inn and Suites so we walked that, it covered a lot of area.

It was a nice size lot that I walked/jogged twice. Anthony left me after the 1st lap and I have to admit, I wanted to follow him but I knew I had to keep going. I had to get in at least 2 laps. That heat was serious and the sun was HIGH in the sky beaming heavy down low! WHEW ... I made that FAT CRY!!

Now to hit the fitness room with Anthony, THIS is his world and he was going to work me. I just knew it but AYE I'M ME, I CAN HANDLE THIS!! That's what I had to tell myself anyways. I'm not a gym rat, I love the out doors and in home work outs.

We worked the upper body, arms/back/chest which is cool. I think I have an AWESOME upper body 'thang' going on ...

... but she's not used to the work out Anthony gave her! 20 lbs is all I could do for repetitions and the fatigue I knew my muscles would experience. I wanted to be able to complete each set and I did! As usual I had to have a mini photo shoot, it's what I do these days! *laughs*

STRAIGHT FLEXIN after a great morning workout. It was GREAT to have a push partner, someone to hold me accountable like I do for so many others. I can get use to this!! Now it's time to eat and hit the beach! LETS GO!
