Consistency and Persistence pays off - Today's Workout #1

I'm 7 days in on my quest to drop 10 lbs. I've only shed 1 dang on pound BUT there has been considerable fat loss and firming! Today's workout started with 100 crunches, 80 bicycles, 65 leg raises and 2 sets of 30 second planks. I truly need to look FANTASTIC the next time I put that 2 piece bikini on. My aerobic activity consisted of 3 miles with Leslie Sansone - Walk At Home - focusing on the waistline... best sweat I've had in a day! *laughs* One thing I love about Leslie's program is that she does multi-muscle workouts with TOTAL BODY work, even when her DVD's target a specific area.

I'm so full of energy and joy right now! A lot of people make excuses when it come to taking care of their body. One excuse I hear often is "I don't want to be tired from working out" ... NO NO NO!

Exercise increases endurance and stamina ... your energy level. I've not had this much energy in all of my life. It also helps you to sleep better because once that work out high mellows off at the days end I am ready to lay it down and go straight to sleep. No FB, Twitter, Instagram OR television, I go straight to sleep and wake up at 6 a.m. regardless. I simply LOVE it!! Getting healthy and fit is one of the BEST choices I could have made in my adult life. I was over weight for as long as I can remember and to know the choice to return to that is mine ... well ... there IS no choice!

I've looked at the pictures of my mid section from June 2 to the ones I took today.

You tell me what you see from these 8 days straight of exercising. There is still way too much fat there for my liking but that starts in the kitchen. You can work out every day of your life but if you are not eating right you are wasting your time!!

That's why when I was presented with the ViSalus' 90 DAY CHALLENGE I didn't hesitate to become a member of the VI community! I knew I didn't eat right nor would I eat as many times a day as the body requires to stay energized and burn fat. The 90 DAY CHALLENGE provides you with 2 of those 5-6 meals leaving me to actually eat 1 regular meal and 2-3 small snacks, that was too easy. A shake for breakfast and a shake for dinner was the absolute best way to start and end my day. The shake contains Biotin which is a vitamin B fat burning agent so in my sleep fat was being burnt. WOW ... need a reminder of where I came from?

Yep, that's from 2012 ... I don't EVER plan to return to that. It's not about being skinny but about being healthy.

These are a few food items that are a part of my daily regimen to help boost metabolism and burn fat.

Make a choice to become healthier now before its too late!
