Eating healthy meals

I always get asked what I ate and eat to get and keep my weight off along with the Body By Vi program. For this reason, I share my meals on a regular basis. Rather it be healthy or not because what I want and need EVERYONE to understand is you have to eat every 2-3 hours in order to lose weight. You can not get away from it. Some people might eat less and some might eat more but for the average person 6 times daily works well.

Dinner tonight: slow baked chicken garnished with mixed peppers, green and yellow squash, mixed spring salad with a touch of balsamic vinaigrette dressing and creamy Parmesan pasta. You look at this plate and you might see a lot of green stuff and YES they are there BUT what I see is my life. I see good health and good living. It is soooooo good too and took no time at all to prepare.

I put the seasoned chicken breast in the oven around 2pm and let it bake on 250. Around 5:30 I put the mixed peppers and squash in with the chicken, lightly seasoned and cut the oven down to WARM. At 6:50 I prepared my salad and partook of my already made pasta. VOILA ... instant, healthy meal accompanied by a bottle of VOSS water.

Take care of your body as you'd want your body to take care of you. I don't knock ANYONE for not joining the HEALTHY IS THE NEW SEXY movement but I do pray that your body takes BETTER care of you than you have been taking care of it!

MIND OVER MATTER

3 miles of fat burning, arm sculpting and high calorie burning done and I feel fantastic. Leslie Sansone has one of the best, if not THE best, fitness DVD collection that I've ever come across. When getting into fitness you MUST find what works for you, what keeps you interested or else you will get bored, frustrated and quit. The mind is VERY strong like that.

I've done a number of fitness DVD's but the WALK AT HOME collection was so easy yet rewarding I didn't have to look any further. My mind and body were both stimulated with the easy yet result forming moves and I have the new body to prove it!! I won't lie and say there aren't days when my mind wants to sabotage my work thus the real battle begins!!

I am coming to find, in my newest get fit venture of leaning and sculpting muscle that the biggest matter is IN THE MIND!! During mile 1 of my work out today, my mind was truly testing my body. It was daring and tempting it to quit, transmitting thoughts of "this too much, take a break man you've been at this fitness crap all week", etc. I almost gave in BUT my body has become a junkie for fitness and seeing the results does not allow me to do so. If I truly want that BIKINI BODY I know I can't quit.

Once you control your thoughts, take control of your mind NOTHING ELSE WILL MATTER!! The mind is a terrible thing to waste so remember in your fitness journey find a routine that stimulates and works out the mind AND body. I am truly LOVING the NEW ME!! My new healthy, curvy and incredibly sexy body AND it's only getting better!! I am truly Summer time fine in the winter time. Why wait until the spring to get right for the summer when you can do it all year long and be FLY ON THE TIME??? Just my thoughts ... carry on.

THIS IS MY MOTIVATION!!! What's yours??? It's not finished but it's SO much better than what it was a year ago! How much do you love YOUR body and health???
